I guess it was to show the edition captions of the story. There also may have been falls back as well to see how Nomura only wanted it to introduce Xemnas role and the orginization side to the plot as well. |
Well if it was just to show about Xemnas existence, which i doubt. I suppose it's true purpose was to show that the Nobodies came around in the period of time. |

Nothing major just a preview of how nobodies come into being and some special events showing roxas in TT. |
Right, and Nomura clearly explained it in the Interview that it's no major to the story only the secret endings and optional bosses to fight. |

basically. as the others have stated above, it's not a mandatory game to play in order to get more information. its just an introduction to the Nobodies and the other information we already know now. |
